“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the end it is between you and God – it never was between you and them anyway.”

– This is based on something written on the wall of Mother Teresa’s home, which itself was based on a composition by Kent Keith.

Jazakallah khair ! for sharing such heart touching words.
Forgiveness is one of the acts on which Islam emphasises the most but unfortunately most of the people use forgiveness very illiberally. Though we can solve countless fights ( especially in our homes and relations ) peacefully by this simple act of forgiveness.
Thats why our beloved Prophet HAZRAT MOHAMMAD (sal llah ho allae he wa allay he wassalam) said ” Strongest person is the one who overcome his anger not the one who overcome/kill his enemy.”
So ” BE STRONG TO FORGIVE ANYONE AT ANY TIME IN THE LIFE”
