Everything to Gain
I open to you like a door
on a spring morning.
Your voice is a sun song.
Your words are water and earth.
I hold your heart like a newborn.
I hang on
because I have everything to gain.

As salamu alaykum, Wael,
Certainly whatever is the direction you are taking, sounds very good.
In chinese tradition energy from Earth represents the femenine energy, and water, the emotions. You refer to spring which is the time of the year where the life renew itself blooming everywhere, giving new life, newborn heart.
You don´t stop surprising me, Alhamdulillah, thank Allah(swt) for your Presence and the Presence who inspires you so much Light and Love.

Thank you, Maria. I have a friend whose heart was broken by betrayal from a loved one. He wrote the following:
Promises are broken.
They mean nothing to me.
Your word is just a sound, a melody,
a moment to rejoice in.
The tones of your voice
the only thing I hear.
Your words mean nothing.
I let go in your eyes,
I get lost, I touch your soul,
I play with your heart,
I live in the moment,
I hang on to nothing
so in the end I have nothing to lose.
I wrote my poem, “Everything to Gain,” in response to that poem, to give my friend another way of looking at love.
Salaams Wael,
Thank you very much for sharing.
Both of you are blessed with the Presence of each other. And all of us are blessed with your Presence.
I have met few people with such capability of empathy, he was her for a moment: “I play with your heart, I live in the moment, I hang on to nothing so in the en I have nothing to loose”. She did this to him and she is this way. At the begining, literally, he is describing the process of abandoning his senses to be in her, to understand why she did what she did.
Deep, deep process of inner healing, through this experience, he is healing himself and the part of himself that is her. Understanding who she is, he lets go easily. Extremely sensitive, intuitive and delicate human being. Barak Allah Feekum.
From my Heart to your friend´s Heart,
Soft and delicate Heart,
powerful roots to hold on,
saw too much being too young,
now it is time to hold on.
Hold on to what is real
consistent and solid,…
I have let you go
now it is time to recover
the pieces of me
that one day I was.
Painful sometimes
others full of joy,
I want to recover
who I was,
the pieces of my Heart,
I left on the way,
I see them here and there
hunging in different
spaces and times.
I want to recover
what one day was mine,
still mine, waiting for me,
hunging in my memory,
….my lost treasures
my broken Heart,
I will recover them
from now on,
I will make of my Heart
an open Heart
fill with the treasures
of a life time.
Who I was
made who I am,
now I know,…
I gave myself,
no doubts, no questions,
now I doubt, I question,
shall I love and trust?
Yes, I shall.
I will heal my Heart
to love and trust,
to see at first sight
others Heart
and to love and trust,
first of all,
my own Heart.
